Oh Baby Project Life

Being a scrapbook shop all day, I often get asked what is project life.

So when I received the Oh Baby collection from Celebr8, I just knew I would make a project life album.

All the plane pieces of cardstock are photo mats  I would have loved to add photo's, but don't currently have any baby photos.

The front cover page and was a full single scrapbook page.  I have left space open at the top to add the babies name/

Page 2 and 3
Page 2 I used the back of the front cover page to my another single layout.

Page 11 was again a full single scrapbook layout.

This was the last page in my album. and I made it a year in review page.
This page was done on the back of page 25 and is a full single scrapbook page.
If you have the project life sleeves, it is very easy to create an album.

Sea Dreams Circle Album

A mini album with a difference (inspired by Julia Ost from Stamperia).

Circle flip album using Stamperia Romantic Sea Dreams paper.

This album turned out to be a lot easier than expected.

Captured in Time Star Album

I tried something different with the new Celebr8 Captured in Time collection.

I made a star dimensional mini album...which can close and can then be paged as a mini album or stand open as a display item.

Each page of the mini album is also a pocket and can take some more photos.

It was not easy to photograph!

The Celebr8 Captured in Time collection worked beautifully with my photos. All I added was some brown kraft cardstock.

NSD 2021 - Class #20 - Loaded Envelope

Class #20 - Loaded Envelope (hosted by Merle Zulberg)

The final class for NSD 2021 was a loaded envelope.
Merle provided us with two sheets of empherma to print and cut out.
We then had to put it together like we wanted.

A project with a difference, and so quick and easy to complet.

NSD 2021 - Class #19 - Scrapbook Layout about ME

Class #19 - Scrapbook Layout about ME (hosted by Michelle van Wyk)

Michelle provided a sketch to use for her class, and asked us to use photos of ourselves....not an easy topic.

I flipped the sketch and created this:
I
I once again used scraps from old collections of Celebr8 and Penelope Dee.
The title was loose chipboard letters painted purle and then I added tickles over.
I also printed my own little bunting tags for under each photo.

Scrapbooking myself is not my favorite topic.....
but in the end I love how this layout came out.

NSD 2021 - Class #18 - Interactive Scrapbook Layout

Class #18 - Interactive Double Layout (hosted by Carol van Aswegen)

Carol made this class very easy by providing full comprehensive notes and a sketch.

I used Celebr8 foolw Your Heart Collection to make another layout for my daughters matric farewell.  This time around I used photos of her partner.

Under the flap I added in some more photos, as well as a little booklet for some journaling.

The chipboard elements I first inked in gold and then added glitter to.

NSD 2021 - Class #17 - Mixed Media Scrapbook Layout

Class #17 - Mixed Media Layout (hosted by Esme Hartman)

I love messing and playing with my mixed media products.

I started this layout with a plain white piece of cardstock.
I then added some distress oxide spray (2 colors), stencling and stamping.
Using Celebr8 Savanna Paper I cut different strips of paper and layered them on the right hand side of the page.
I then added some more stenciling.
Once all of this was dry, I added some gauze, my photo and embellishments.

The photo is of my daughter with her first kudu.
It is Afrikaans tradition for the men to hunt for meat.  In 2020 my daughter decided she also wanted to go along.

I love the end result.
