Mila Verjaar 3

The second sketch for the month over at Let's Scrap designed by Michelle van Wyk.

I comibned the sketch with Case File No. 180 over at CSI!

and this is was I created

Mila Verjaar 3  (Mila's Birthday 3)

The theme of her birthday party was Red Riding Hood, and her mom put a lot of effort in!

I included some memorabilia from her birthday party.....birthday card, invitation, straw, candles, etc.

 As Mila's mom always takes so many photos I created a little booklet for some more photos, journalling and the CD with all the photos on!

The cover.....this was such a cute photo....Why is Grandma's ear so big?

 I also popped numerous items on my layout with double sided foam tape!

 Paper used is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh Collection....I loved the picnic feel of the colours!

All you need is love and best friends

This week I created a layout using the

Celebr8 Cafe Friendship Collection.

This is a very special layout of myself and my twin.....my BEST FRIEND!!

I painted the top layer of the chipboard with brown chalk.

The bottom layer of the chipboard was painted using Clearsnap Smooch Pearlescent Inks

Lea - Smash the Cake

When I received these photos from Lea's mom I was so excited to scrap them!!

They are so cute, and I loved the colors!!

I tried to bring in a vintage look, as well as the theme of her birthday party....hot air balloons!!

Lea's SMASH the CAKE!!

All the hot air balloons are home made embellishments!!

Lea Een - Let's Scrap Sketch 9-15-15

The second sketch for the month over at Let's Scrap designed by Michelle van Wyk!

I created a layout for Lea's album of her 1st birthday

 Close up of the title....

this bunting was on top of her birthday cake!

 The pockets on the right side of the layout are filled with memorabilia from her party...invitation, straws, cake toppers, bottle stickers, etc.

 I also created a booklet on the left side of the page.

Lea had so many photos of her party that i included the CD on the layout!

In the pocket is all the birthday cards she received!

Shiné

I was privileged enough to be asked by Shiné's mom to take photos and create a layout of Shiné.

The first photo shoot we did was in September 2014, just before she underwent ear surgery.

The second photo shoot was done in April 2015, after her operation. 

I used a Scissor Sisters Kaisercraft kit, as it suited my photos so beautifully.

I did however add in a title, flowers, pearls and some chipboard swirls.

I played around a little with the photos, and decided to include sepia and color photos!

Paper used is all kaisercraft.

One Direction - Let's Scrap Sketch 4-1-15

This month's first sketch over at Let's Scrap was designed by Michelle van Wyk.

I created a double page layout for my daughter of our attendance at the 

ONE DIRECTION concert in Cape Town.

The black background is glitter cardstock!
I did the title with silver glitter alphabet stickers.

I included two of the tickets!

This concert was definitely a dream come true for her!

Paper used is Kaisercraft and AC Cardstock.
