Life is a grand adventure - Let's Scrap Sketch 10-15-17

This is the second layout created for my friend, celebrating her son Craig's life.

Once again I used the Celebr8 Life's Journey Collection
and added in chipboard filmstrips, bunting and arrows.

The Ranger Enamel Accents worked perfectly with this layout!

A few close-ups:

I tried to make the two boys layouts similar, as they will be hanging on the wall together.
Here is Kyle's layout!

Cherished Moments Kyle - Let's Scrap Sketch 10-1-17

What a challenge this sketch was.
A friend gave me printed photos of her son to scrap.....I normally print my photos to the sizes I want....so this created a bit of a challenge for me!

I used the Life's Journey Collection from Celebr8 and added in chipboard and metal gears to give the page a more masculine feel.

All the little sayings on the paper were so appropriate for what my friend wanted.
She wanted me to make a layout celebrating her son's life!!

A few close up's:

Under 11 Rugby 2016 - Let's Scrap Sketch 9-1-17

My son, Devon has been begging me to create a layout for him of his rugby games in 2016, however I didn't have very many photos.

So I used the left side of the Let's Scrap Sketch 9-1-17
which I flipped and rotated!

The paper used is from Scrap Collections.
All the chipboard embellishments (rugby balls and title) are from Enmarc.

Boys will be Boys -Sketch 10

So I have been very quiet on my blog over the last 6 months. as I was teaching, but I am finally back in my scraproom catching up on some much needed therapy and scrapbooking.

I created the layout below with my son Devon's photos
from a photo shoot in 2015 with Star Photography.
I just had to use the Penelope Dee Maestro collection as the denim paper suited my photos perfectly.
I used the SASSA (SCRAP AND SELL SOUTH AFRICA) Sketch 10 for the layout!
Left Page
Close up of the top left corner embellishment cluster.
I added stitching to the pockets as well as brads and eyelets,
just to give them the feel of real denim pockets.
Right Page
Close up of the bottom right corner embellishment cluster.
The two denim pockets are pockets to hold some tags. Again I added stitching and brads/eyelets to give the denim pockets and authentic feel.
The ribbons in the tags are made with Tim Holtz Crinkle Ribbon and distress sprays,
so that they perfectly match my paper!

Products used:
Penelope Dee - Maestro Collection
AC Cardstock
Tim Holtz Crinkle Ribbon
Tim Hotlz Metal Gears

Thanks for popping by!
