Mila Verjaar 3

The second sketch for the month over at Let's Scrap designed by Michelle van Wyk.

I comibned the sketch with Case File No. 180 over at CSI!

and this is was I created

Mila Verjaar 3  (Mila's Birthday 3)

The theme of her birthday party was Red Riding Hood, and her mom put a lot of effort in!

I included some memorabilia from her birthday party.....birthday card, invitation, straw, candles, etc.

 As Mila's mom always takes so many photos I created a little booklet for some more photos, journalling and the CD with all the photos on!

The cover.....this was such a cute photo....Why is Grandma's ear so big?

 I also popped numerous items on my layout with double sided foam tape!

 Paper used is from Simple Stories Summer Fresh Collection....I loved the picnic feel of the colours!

All you need is love and best friends

This week I created a layout using the

Celebr8 Cafe Friendship Collection.

This is a very special layout of myself and my twin.....my BEST FRIEND!!

Close-up of the top embellishment cluster!

I painted the top layer of the chipboard with brown chalk.

The bottom layer of the chipboard was painted using Clearsnap Smooch Pearlescent Inks

Lea - Smash the Cake

When I received these photos from Lea's mom I was so excited to scrap them!!

They are so cute, and I loved the colors!!

I tried to bring in a vintage look, as well as the theme of her birthday party....hot air balloons!!

Lea's SMASH the CAKE!!

All the hot air balloons are home made embellishments!!

Squares are a variety of paper scraps from Authentique
